Being a working parent who works with 30 odd other parents, how on earth can we fit our leave into a 6 week period, they will end up not employing mums....... this country is becoming so dictatorial. Corrina B.

E-petition leads to Westminster debate

Following tougher regulations on school attendance policy, dozens of parents have already been fined or appeared in court for taking their children out of school during term time. Parents Want a Say is fighting for a reversal of these policy changes.

On the 24th February MPs debated the controversy over companies charging extra during school holidays.
