Being a working parent who works with 30 odd other parents, how on earth can we fit our leave into a 6 week period, they will end up not employing mums....... this country is becoming so dictatorial. Corrina B.

We cannot legislate against pricey peak-time holidays

The Telegraphy’s – Rodger Bootle has written an article on why the government cannot legislate against pricey peak-time holidays.

I quote from him.

“The forces of supply and demand may not be very cuddly, they may often seem unfair, and of course they do not vote, but they are ineluctable.”

This is why in our opinion getting the school attendance policy reverted back to 01st of September 2013 is the only way forward, this would reduce the supply and demand and therefore bring down the cost of holidays during school holidays.
